I’m Mika—a Montreal-born filmmaker with Portuguese and Quebecois roots, currently completing my BFA in Cinema at Concordia University

​

In 2023, I participated in UQAM’s Cinema Summer School, collaborating with FAMU Prague students and supporting various projects. Later that year, I moved to Tokyo, where I worked on international and commercial shoots, gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced, multicultural environments.

I’m motivated by the technical and creative challenges of filmmaking, and I’m committed to building a career as a cinematographer.
